Noble Health Receives Signed Letter of Intent from Interested Buyer for Hospitals in Mexico and Fulton

Noble Health Corporation is confirming that discussions are ongoing with several interested parties wanting to buy the hospitals in Mexico and Fulton.

In a phone call with Noble Health spokesperson Nancy Mays yesterday (Thursday), she confirmed to KWWR/KXEO news that Noble Health has received a signed letter of intent with someone interested in buying the hospitals, however it is non-binding.

Mays says the hospitals are continuing to hold bi-weekly meetings for employees and top priorities are payroll, benefits and taxes.

She also confirmed that a funding source has been found to make outstanding payroll, however a time frame for making that was unknown at this time.

Noble Health confirmed that it has delayed two rounds of paychecks for hourly employees.

Noble announced this week that it had furloughed 175 full-time employees.

Hospital services at the hospitals in Mexico and Fulton were suspended by Noble Health two weeks ago.
