Arrest Made in Connection to Vandalism at Audrain Community Hospital

A Mexico man is now facing charges of vandalism after an arrest yesterday (Wednesday) in connection to damage caused at the Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico.

According to Mexico Public Safety 55 year old Geoffrey D. Allen was arrested around 3:55 yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

An unnamed source said Allen was an employee of the hospital.

An investigation revealed someone entered the building.

Unnamed sources told KWWR/KXEO news that keys to the facility were taken, a water fountain was ripped from the wall and glass was broken out of a trophy case.

Allen was released pending formal charges by the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney.

According to Audrain Community Hospital CEO Amy O’Brien no patient information has been compromised and nothing was taken from the pharmacy.
