Centralia High School Band to Perform in National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C.
The Centralia High School Band will be performing in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. on Monday.
Band Director Kim Neighbors says they were recommended to the parades sponsors by U.S. Senator Roy Blunt.
All 52 members of the Panthers band will be taking a charter bus to Washington and will be leaving tomorrow (Friday) and arriving on Saturday.
They will perform a medley of patriotic songs during the parade.
The parade starts at 2pm central time and is supposed to be airing on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW stations nationwide.
It will be streaming live at musiccelebrations.com/2022-nmdp.
