City of Mexico May Rename Garfield Park After Hometown Hero Tyronn Lue Soon
The City of Mexico may soon change the name of Garfield Park and rename it after hometown hero and head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers Tyronn Lue.
Mexico City Councilwoman Dr. Ayanna Shivers says the name change was proposed by Mexico resident Dan Erdel during the public comments portion of last night’s city council meeting.
The recommendation will now be discussed by the Mexico Parks and Recs board and they will decide on whether or not to move forward with recommending the name change to the Mexico City Council.
