City of Vandalia Under Boil Water Advisory After Water Main Break
Vandalia residents are under a boil water advisory for the next 48 hours.
According to Vandalia City Manager Darren Berry crews were doing some water tower work this morning resulting in a water main break.
They have fixed one of the water main breaks and are working to fix a second water main break.
The Vandalia Library is closing for the rest of the day today (Thursday) due to the water main break and plans on reopening for regular business hours tomorrow (Friday).
