Child Care Costs Up – Social Services Can Help
In a survey conducted by Care.com, 63% of parents report child care has become more expensive over the past year. The cost of nannies rose about 20% over the course of the pandemic, while babysitting and day care costs are up 5% to 15%, according to Care.com.
The United Way and the state of Missouri can help with daycare costs for some families who qualify financially. If you find yourself in need, use the link below to contact the Missouri Department of Social Services to apply.
