Ameren Electric Customers to See Slight Bill Increase
Ameren Missouri customers will see a slight increase in their bills beginning February 1st.
According to the Missouri Public Service Commission, they have approved the request from the gas and electric provider to make an adjustment.
The utility’s renewable energy standard rate adjustment mechanism charge has been a credit of roughly fifty cents on the average consumer’s bill.
With the rate change, customers will now see a charge for that line item on their bill, averaging thirty-five cents for the typical customer.
Ameren Missouri serves approximately 1.29 million electric customers, all of whom will see this fee increase.
