Former Missouri Representative Sam Leake Dies at 78
Former Missouri State Representative Sam Leake of Perry has died.
Leake was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 1988 and served until 2000, serving as the chair of the agricultural committee.
Following his terms in the House, Leake served as Chairman of the Tax Commission from 2000 until 2006.
Leake died early yesterday morning (Wednesday) at the age of 78.
