In high school baseball last night (Thursday) the Kirksville Tigers bested the Mexico Bulldogs 2-0.

Landyn Kleinsorge started the game for Mexico and recorded 15 outs struck out three.

Landon Hilderman, Austin Maxwell and Tyler Thoenen each collected one hit to lead the Bulldogs offense.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team has a commitment from Iowa State guard Caleb Grill. The announcement was made today (Thursday).

Grill becomes the third guard to sign on with the Tigers this spring.

Last year at Iowa State he shot 36.8% from beyond the 3-point line.

The Kansas City Chiefs will assess Patrick Mahomes’ contract soon.

Mahomes signed a 10-year-deal, $503 million extension in 2020, however now he is the sixth-highest-paid quarterback since several other NFL quarterbacks recently signed extensions.

Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach said yesterday (Thursday) that an adjustment could be coming once a few more deals go down.

In the NBA playoffs last (Thursday) night Mexico, MO native Tyronne Lue and his Los Angeles Clippers lost 129-124 to the Phoenix Suns in Game 3 of their opening round series.

The Suns now lead the series 2-1.

Game 4 takes place tomorrow (Saturday) in Los Angeles.
