Thirty Year Veteran Teacher With Mexico Public Schools Announces Retirement

A veteran teacher with the Mexico Public Schools will be retiring at the end of this school year.

After 30 years with Mexico, Dave Okenfuss is calling it a career.

Mr. Okenfuss is the Marketing and Personal Finance Instructor at the Hart Career Center.

He is also the COE Internship Coordinator, DECA Advisor, and Head Coach for Mexico Middle School Football.

Mr. Okenfuss has a new grandbaby coming in July and plans to spend his extra time being a grandpa.

He also hopes to do some traveling.
