Multiple Mexico High School Athletes Earn North Central Missouri Conference Honors

Two Mexico High School baseball players are on the First Team All-North Central Missouri Conference Team.

It was announced today (Friday) that senior Andrew Runge and Tyler Thoenen made the First Team.

Runge had a .305 average on the season. Runge also broke a school record for career stolen bases with 49.

Thoenen made the First Team All-NCMC with a .424 average, one homerun, 10 RBI, and five stolen bases on the season.

Mexico girls soccer Kenley Jones was named to the 2nd Team as an All-Conference Defender and Emily Moppin was named to the 2nd Team All-Conference Midfielder.

Mexico track earned the following NCMC honors:

  • Anthony Shivers (100m Dash)
  • Tyler Grimes (800m Run)
  • Thomas Peuster (3200m Run)
  • Maggie Ramsey (3200m Run)
  • Anthony Shivers, Alex Rowan, Tyler Grimes, Morgan Grubbb (4×100)
  • Davonte Frame, Tyler Grimes, Charlie Fisher, Anthony Shivers (4×400)
  • Guy Fairchild, Davonte Frame, Tyler Grimes, Thomas Peuster (4×800)
  • Viviana Benjamin, Maggie Ramsey, Emma Seibert, Sidney Turlington
