The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team remains the 9th ranked team in Class 4 in the Missouri Basketball Coaches poll released on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Mexico has a record of 14-2.

The Bulldogs will be back in action this Friday, at the Mexico High School when they host the Warrenton Warriors.

The Jefferson City High School has announced a new head football coach.

The Jefferson City School District announced yesterday afternoon (Monday) that former Jay football player and 1993 Jefferson City High School graduate Eric Thomas will take over, pending formal board approval.

Thomas spent 14 years as Lee’s Summit High School head coach, and announced his resignation to his players yesterday.

Thomas will become the 5th head coach at Jefferson City High since 2017.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team is set for its first road conference game of the season tonight (Tuesday), when they square off against the 6th ranked Kentucky Wildcats.

Tip-off is set for 6pm.

The Michigan Wolverines toppled the Washington Huskies 34-13 last night (Monday) in the College Football Playoffs National Chamionship.

Michigan captured its first national championship since 1997.

Michigan finishes with a record of 15-0.
