Mexico High School celebrated their two seniors Brendan McKeown and Trevor Wright on Senior Night at the Fairground Netplex in Mexico on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Mexico lost to Kirksville 6-3 and fell to 1-3 in North Central Missouri Conference duals this season.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team picked up their fourth transfer of the off-season when former Duke forward Mark Mitchell committed to the ZOU on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Mitchell played two years at Duke averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds per game.

The 6’9 forward from Kansas City, Kansas started all but one game in his two seasons with the Blue Devils.

The Missouri Tigers baseball team lost 12-1 to LSU at Taylor Stadium.

Mizzou was limited to three hits over the seven-inning contest.

Mizzou and LSU continue their series at 4pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

13th ranked Mizzou softball defeated 9th ranked Georgia 4-2 in their series opener.

The victory moves Mizzou to 35-11 for the season.

Missouri matched its overall win total from 2023.

Due to the rain in tomorrow’s (Sunday) forecast, Missouri and Georgia will now play a doubleheader today beginning at 1pm.

The second game will start 45 minutes after the conclusion of first game.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Baltimore Orioles 9-4 at the K.

The Royals are 20 days deep into this month’s schedule and still have not lost an April game at Kauffman Stadium.

The St. Louis Cardinals returned to Busch Stadium and lost 2-1 to the Milwaukee Brewers in 10 innings.
