Missouri women’s basketball received a verbal commitment Thursday from Ellie Muller, a 6-foot-3 power forward from West Des Moines High School in Iowa. Muller is the second player to pledge to Mizzou Women’s Coach Kellie Harper’s first high school recruiting class. Both are post players.

The St. Louis Blues are shaking up their broadcast team. Starting next season, longtime radio voice Chris Kerber and analyst Joey Vitale are moving to TV as part of a new simulcast deal with FanDuel Sports Network and 101 ESPN — meaning fans will hear the same call on both radio and television.

With that change, the Blues have not renewed the contract of veteran TV play-by-play announcer John Kelly, who’s called Blues games for 20 seasons. The team plans to honor him during the upcoming season.

In MLB,

Kansas City had the night off.

St. Louis squared off with Washington in the rubber game of their series last night at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals erupted for 5 runs in the 6th and Miles Mikloas had a dominant outing as St. Louis beat the Washington Nationals last night 8-1.
