The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team pull off a win to start conference play.

The Dawgs beat Marshall at home last night (Tuesday) 68-37.

Varsity is now 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

Next up for the varsity boys is the Norm Stewart Classic on Friday night, tipoff against the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School Guardians at Mizzou Arena is at 10.

Junior Varsity boys also won last night 60-34.

Freshman boys play Battle tonight (Wednesday) in the semifinals of the Mexico Freshman Tournament.

The Tigers men’s basketball team picked up a big win last night (Tuesday) over the Eastern Illinois Panthers.

The Tigers dominated both ends of the floor in the 72-44 win with Kobe Brown leading the effort with his 3rd consecutive double-double and career-high 5 steals.

Next up for the Tigers is the HyVee Border Showdown Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas.

That game has a 2:15 tip.

A wrap-around goal 53 seconds into overtime from Pavel Buchnevich propelled the Blues to victory over the Florida Panthers last night (Tuesday), 4-3.

The Blues earned a split in their back to back games with the Panthers, both of which went into overtime.

Blues goalie Ville Husso left the game with a lower body injury with Charlie Lindgren making his St. Louis debut in relief.

The Blues host the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow night (Thursday), puck drops at 7pm.
