Major League Baseball owners and players remain at a stalemate on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.

It is already the longest owners’ lockout in baseball history and the start of spring training is in jeopardy.

Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report in about 2 weeks.

There is no actual deadline for a deal, as the old CBA expired on December 1st.

The last time the players association and MLB owners met was February 1st and the talks were heated as the sides left nowhere close to a deal.

Opening day is scheduled for Thursday, March 31st.
