Mexico Boys Basketball Team Breaks School Record for Best Start to a Season Without a Loss After Win Over St. Elizabeth
The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team set a school record for the most wins to start a season without a loss after defeating the St. Elizabeth Hornets 74-55 tonight at the Mexico Middle School.
The Bulldogs are a perfect 20-0 to start this year.
There were four Bulldogs players in double digits led my Michael White with 16.
Jordan Shelton with 14, and Isaiah Reams and DJ Long had 10 points each respectively.
The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround and will play the Battle Spartans tomorrow (Saturday) in the Columbia Hall of Fame Classic at the Father Tolton High School with a 1pm tip.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs beat the Capital City Cavaliers 53-44 tonight to improve to 13-7.
Mya Miller led all scorers with 19 points. Jordan Thurman and Lexie Willer had 10 points each.
Up next the Mexico Lady Bulldogs will play the Fulton Lady Hornets on Tuesday on the road.
