Mexico High School girls wrestling team members have awards after completing this past season.

The awards night and dinner was held last night (Tuesday) at the Mexico High School cafeteria.

Ivy Perez picked up the Spirit Award.

Most Improved Wrestler went to Kaylynn Pehle.

Newcomer of the Year was Shelby Shramek.

Senior of the Year was Brett Iman.

The Mexico Girls Wrestling Team head coach is Tony Senor, and the assistant coach is Kayla Pfeifer.

Mizzou Baseball won their third consecutive game dominating St. Louis University 18-4 yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) in 7 innings.

Once the Tigers scored their initial six runs in the bottom of the first, they never looked back.

They also exploded for 8 runs in the 6th inning, scoring 18 runs on 17 hits.

Mizzou Baseball is off to a 12-2 start this season.

Former MU quarterback Chase Daniel will return to the LA Chargers on a 1 year contract.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter the deal will pay Danial 2.25 million dollars.

It will be Daniel’s 14th NFL season.

Daniel is widely regarded as the best quarterback in Mizzou Football history as the only Heisman Trophy finalist in the history of the program and holds numerous passing records including career passing yards and touchdowns.
