Community R-VI Trojans Pitchers Combine for No-Hitter as Team Checks Into State Rankings for the First Time in Twenty One Years
For the first time in 21 years the Community R-VI High School Baseball Team is ranked.
The Trojans checked into the latest Missouri Coaches Association Poll at number 8 in Class 1 yesterday (Monday).
Community pushed their record to 3-0 on the season last night (Monday) after defeating Slater 7-0.
Mason Caroll started on the mound, throwing four innings and striking out 8.
Gavin Allen threw three innings and struck out nine.
Combined they threw a no hitter.
Offensively, Gavin hit his first home run of the season.
Kaden Brooks came through with a 2 out single to drive in 2 runs, and Chase Dobbins went 2 for 3.
