The 25th ranked Missouri Tigers Softball team crushed St. Louis University 9-3 yesterday (Wednesday).

It was the Tigers fourth victory in a row and their 29th win of the season.

The St. Louis Cardinals snapped a three-game losing streak yesterday (Wednesday) after toppling the New York Mets 10-5 at Busch Stadium.

The Redbirds were able to rally from an early 4-1 deficit and avoid being swept by the Mets.

St. Louis remains at home tonight (Thursday) when they start a series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Kansas City Royals lost 7-3 to the Chicago White Sox.

This sets up a rubber match in today’s (Thursday) series finale.

St. Louis Blues star Vladimir Tarasenko has been nominated for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.

The award is given annually to the NHL player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.

Tarasenko is the first Blue to reach the 80-point mark since the 2002-2003 season.

Several teams advanced past round 1 of the NBA playoffs last night (Wednesday).

The Golden State Warriors closed out the Denver Nuggets 102-98.

And the Milwaukee Bucks took out the Chicago Bulls 116-100.
