Mexico High School Golfers Aidan Knipfel and Landon Love Take Advantage of Rainy Conditions at Centralia Tournament

Mexico High School Golfers Aidan Knipfel and Landon Love put up another top finish at the Centralia Tournament today (Friday).

Landon shot a 40 and finished in 5th place.

Aidan shot a 42 and finished in 7th place.

Head Coach Rebecca Bates reports the two battled through some tough weather at the Centralia Community Golf Course.

After four holes there was an hour and a half rain delay.

After going back out Coach Bates says they made the best of it while other teams struggled.

Landon and Aidan took advantage and battled through the rain all afternoon.

The Mexico boys golf team returns home to the Oaks on Monday, May 2nd to host the Missouri Military Academy, then Tuesday it is on to Fulton.
