Two Mizzou Tigers were drafted by NFL teams over the weekend.

Cornerback Akayleb Evens was taken in the fourth round by the Minnesota Vikings with 118th overall pick.

Running back Tyler Badie was taken by Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round at 196.

The Missouri Tigers baseball team rallied back from a three-run deficit yesterday (Sunday) and beat Mississippi 7-6 to win the weekend series.

With the game tied in the 9th, Mizzou’s Josh Day hit his eighth home run of the season and gave the Tigers the walk-off victory.

Mizzou softball defeated Texas A&M 11-6 yesterday (Sunday) and competed the series sweep.

It was senior day for the Tigers eight seniors yesterday.

Up next MU will play on the road at Alabama on Friday.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-5 at Busch Stadium yesterday (Sunday).

Harrison Bader and Nolan Arenado each went yard late in the game.

The Cardinals play the Kansas City Royals today in a makeup game from earlier this season.

First pitch is at 12:15.

The Kansas City Royals lost 6-4 to the New York Yankees.

Manager Mike Matheny announced top catching prospect MJ Melendez will be called up from Triple-A-Omaha today (Monday) and was told he needed to be ready for the game today in St. Louis.

The St. Louis Blues will play game one in their best-of-seven Western Conference First Round series of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs against the Minnesota Wild tonight in Minnesota.

The two teams played three times in the regular season, with two of those games going past regulation and were wins for the Wild.

The other a 6-4 Blues victory.
