Mexico Lady Bulldogs Soccer Shuts Out Canton On Senior Night

The Mexico High School girls soccer team put up a 2-0 victory over Canton last night (Tuesday).

It was senior night at Hotop Field. Wyndee Bohr, Bryna Carey, Ruby Haefling, Samantha Joiner, Shelby Kennemore and manager Ricky Juarez were honored before the game.

Both goals for Mexico were provided from Aliyah Smith.

Head Coach Haley Schafer says “The heat was a bit of a factor, but the girls were able to find some energy in the second half to put up two goals. As a team our time of possession was high, we were just coming up short until the second half.”
