The St. Louis Cardinals snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Braves in 11 innings last night (Thursday).

Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson was on the bench for the first six innings however when he got in the game he delivered three hits with the final one being a line-drive single to score Nolan Arenado for what proved to be the game-winning run for the Redbirds.

The Kansas City Royals lost 5-2 to the Houston Astros in their series finale in Houston yesterday (Thursday).

The St. Louis Blues selected the 23rd overall pick in round 1 of the NHL Draft last night (Thursday).

6-1 Jimmy Snuggerud is a right-handed forward out of the USA U-18 National Team Development Program.

Snuggerud scored 24 goals and recorded 39 assists, for 63 points in 59 games last season.

Rounds 2-7 of the NHL Draft continues today (Friday) starting at 10am on the NHL Network.
