Postseason play for the St. Louis Cardinals begins this afternoon at Busch Stadium.

The Cards begin the best of three wild card series hosting the Phillies with the first pitch set for 1:07.

Mizzou has landed a commit for the 2023 basketball recruiting class from South Carolina.

He’s hard to miss at 7 feet tall and he picked Mizzou over Auburn and South Carolina.

Jordan Butler is a 4-star recruit as a center and improves Mizzou’s standing in recruiting class rankings to 13th in the country on Rivals and 39th on On3 Sports.

The North Callaway softball Lady Birds ended their regular season last night on the road in Bowling Green.

North Callaway got shut out by the Lady Bobcats 11 to nothing and now look ahead to district play.

It will be a battle of north & south Tuesday afternoon as the number 5 seed North Callaway heads to number 4 South Callaway for the first game of Sectionals.

Tuesday’s game gets underway at 2pm with the winner advancing to take on the number one seed Fayette.

Week 7 of high school football action kicks off at 7pm tonight and some of the games we’re following include:

  • Mexico hosting the Kirksville Tigers for Homecoming
  • Centralia hosts Highland
  • Blair Oaks heads to Eldon
  • Fulton hosts Marshall
  • Southern Boone is on the road in Hallsville
  • Hannibal hosts Moberly
  • Boonville heads south to the Lake to take on Osage
  • Paris with Madison & Faith Walk host Russellville
  • North Callaway heads east to Wright City
