Girls Action From 94th Annual New Franklin Tournament

The Community R-VI Lady Trojans advance to the championship game of the 94th New Franklin tournament after beating Sweet Springs last night 59 – 28.

R-VI was led by Olivia Kuda with 20 points.

Next up for the #1 seeded Lady Trojans, the #2 seed New Franklin in the championship round tomorrow night at 7:30.

Other results from last night include Sturgeon narrowly beating Bunceton/Prairie Home 54 to 52 to advance to the consolation game against Fayette who beat Westran 42 – 31.

Sweet Springs and Pilot Grove will battle for third place and Bunceton/Prairie Home and Westran will vie for seventh place.
