KWWR Sports Report 5/19/23

It was a homerun derby at Busch Stadium last night (Thursday) as the St. Louis Cardinals crushed the Los Angeles Dodgers 16-8.

The Redbirds launched seven home runs in the game, including two from Wilson Contreras and two from Nolan Gorman.

Contreras ended up with six RBI. Adam Wainwright picked up career win number 196.

St. Louis has now won a series opener in four consecutive series.
