Mizzou football took center stage in Nashville yesterday (Monday), as SEC Media Days kicked off.

The conversation widely centered around the impending quarterback competition.

Head coach Eli Drinkwitz will soon make a decision for this year’s starting quarterback, which is between last year’s starter Brady Cook, rising sophomore Sam Horn and Miami-transfer Jake Garcia.

Coach Drinkwitz said it will be an open competition.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Miami Marlins 6-4 at Busch Stadium last night (Monday).

Dylan Carlson put up a 2 hit night at the plate and Cardinals All-Star Nolan Arenado had a four RBI night.

St. Louis won their third consecutive game.

The Kansas City Royals lost 3-2 to the Detroit Tigers at the K.
