The St. Louis Cardinals lost 5 to 3 to the Minnesota Twins at Busch Stadium last night (Thursday).
Cardinals slugger Alec Burleson had a solid night at the plate.
He recorded three hits including a home run.
The Kansas City Royals completed a series sweep over the New York Mets with a 9-2 victory at the K on Thursday afternoon.
The Royals clinched their sixth consecutive win and also finished the home stand 6-0 for the first time since 2016.
