Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Picks Up Home Wins Over the Fulton Hornets

Both the Mexico boys and girls basketball teams defeated the Fulton Hornets at the Mexico High School tonight (Tuesday).

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs extended their winning streak to 7 with a 58-26 victory over the Fulton Lady Hornets.

Mexico senior guard Taylor DeMint had a career night and sparked the Lady Bulldogs offense with 22 points and nailed 6 three pointers.

Mya Miller reached double digits with 18. Riley Thurman checked in with 8 points. Jordyn Thurman recorded 7 points. And Ruby Haefling finished the game with three points. The Mexico girls improved to 7-1 overall and remain perfect in North Central Missouri Conference play at 3-0.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball won 68-61 over the Fulton boys in an overtime thriller.

The game was tight throughout with 7 ties and 9 lead changes.

Isaiah Reams led the Bulldogs with 23 points.

Three other Bulldogs finished in double digits including Michael White with 15, DJ Long 12 and Kaeye Miller with 10 points.

The Bulldogs pushed their record to 9-0 overall and 4-0 in the NCMC.

Up next both the Mexico boys and girls remain at home for games against the Bowling Green Bobcats on Thursday night.
