Audrain County Sees 30% Rise in COVID-19 Cases Over Past 7 Days

COVID-19 numbers are up thirty percent from last Wednesday according to data released yesterday (Wednesday) by the Audrain County Health Department.

Last week, there were 76 total cases in the county, this week that number is up to 99.

Mexico has 74 active cases, up from last week and Vandalia has 10 cases this week.

They had fewer than 10 last week as they were not listed on last week’s report as a city having 10 or more cases.

Active probable cases went down over the past 7 days from 64 to 54 and the 7-day positivity rate dropped by 0.6% to 12.7%.
